Biography
Paul Neudorf has several years experience directing, producing, shooting and editing video. He is currently in post-production of Strands, an experimental dance film funded by Bravo!FACT, about desire and the unconscious where animated strands of fingerprints interact with dancers Jonathan Turcotte, Marc Boivin and Clara Furey.
His most recent film Refractions, also an experimental dance film funded by Bravo!FACT, will soon be broadcast on Bravo!Canada. It has screened internationally, from festivals in Aubagne (France), Milan, and Vancouver to its world premiere March 2009 at the Festival International du Film sur l’Art (FIFA) in Montréal.
He edits video for various clients, both private and corporate. Clients past and current include l’Ensemble contemporain de montréal+, Montréal musicians and singer/songwriters, Théâtre 314, McGill Institute for Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies research project, interdisciplinary project for ADESAM (Association des écoles supérieures d’art de Montréal), Concordia University Television (CUTV), and video CVs and wedding projections for various clients.
From 2007-2009 Paul taught video to youth in an innovative new video and media education program for youth at the Segal Centre’s Academy for Performing Arts.
